Who We Are

We're a carpet cleaning company based in Studio City, CA. We've been working in this area long enough to know the neighborhoods, the housing stock, and the kinds of calls that come in regularly.

Studio City runs three distinct housing types, and each one changes how we clean. Pre-1950 homes here usually have oak strip hardwood underneath, with area rugs or carpet laid over the top, so we watch moisture at the edges and keep extraction tight. The 1950s-70s tracts got wall-to-wall over slab, which holds cold and pulls soil straight down into the backing. The 1980s-2000s builds and the rebuilt hillside homes above Ventura are mostly plush and Berber over pad, and those two need different handling. Berber wicks and shows every wand line if you rush it. We work on Shaw, Mohawk, Karastan, Stainmaster, Anderson Tuftex and Masland carpet regularly, and we check the fiber before we pick a chemical, not after.

The soil in the Los Angeles basin and San Fernando Valley is mineral, not organic. Fine road dust, decomposed granite grit off hillside streets and canyon roads, Santa Ana-borne dust and wildfire ash, and freeway particulate along the 101/405/10 corridors. It never binds into mud, so it grinds down deep into the pile and stays there. That is why we use truckmount hot-water extraction for most jobs: a pre-spray to break the bond, mechanical agitation with a brush or rotary head so the solution reaches the base of the fiber, then a slow extraction pass with the truck-mounted unit, then air movers on the damp areas. Low ambient humidity means it dries fast, often same-day, and musty post-clean odor is rare here. For wool and delicate rugs we go low-moisture instead. For pet urine, which is routine in bedroom corners and along baseboards in these single-family neighborhoods, we treat the pad and subfloor, not just the surface, or the smell comes back in a week. See our steam carpet cleaning page for how the extraction process works, and upholstery cleaning if the couch took the same abuse.

A large share of our work is rental turnover: apartment move-outs, security-deposit jobs, and landlord calls where the unit has to show well by Friday. We also see the spring pollen load from oak, olive, sycamore and ornamental palms, and the few weeks of genuine mud in December through February. The estimate is free. You get a firm quote before we start, and it does not move unless you add rooms. Price depends on square footage, fiber type, how many pet areas need treatment, and stairs. Some things do not come out. Old bleach spots, dye transfer from a rubber-backed mat, cat urine that sat for two years under a bed. We will tell you that at the walkthrough instead of taking your money and hoping. If a repair or a patch is the better answer than a cleaning, we will say so.

Our service area

We cover Studio City and the surrounding towns. If you're in one of these areas and have a carpet cleaning problem, call us. We usually get out the same day.

How we decide what to recommend

Waiting costs you the pad first, then the carpet. Dry grit is the reason. In the Los Angeles basin and San Fernando Valley, soiling is mineral, not organic: fine road dust, decomposed granite grit off hillside streets and canyon roads, Santa Ana-borne dust, wildfire ash, freeway particulate along the 101/405/10 corridors. It never binds into mud. It sinks to the backing and cuts fiber like sand. Traffic lanes go gray, then they go bald. That damage is abrasion, and abrasion does not clean out.

So we check the base of the pile before quoting anything. If tips are frayed but the yarn still stands, cleaning is worth it. If the backing shows through, we say so and stop.

Pet urine gets a separate call. Indoor-outdoor cats and dogs are common here, and bedroom corners and baseboard runs are routine. Over 1950s-70s slab tracts, urine reaches concrete and stays. Topical cleaning fails. Pad replacement and sealing is the honest answer, and sometimes only in that corner.

Rental turnovers we assess differently. Move-out and security-deposit work needs a defensible result, not a miracle. We tell landlords and tenants which lanes will improve and which will not.

Estimates are free. You get a firm quote before work starts. Pile type, urine extent, and stair count move it.
